The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), Trade Union Congress (TUC), civil society allies and electricity consumers today, demonstrated against the 45% increase in electricity tariff.

Members of the Nigeria Labour Congress and Trade Union Congress of Nigeria kick against what they call unwarranted hike in electricity tariff.
The labour unions say they will not stop to protest until power supply is adequate enough to justify the increased tariff. They say the protests will continue until the Nigerian Government rescinds its decision.
