Manchester United want Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to replace David De Gea if the Spain international leaves for Real Madrid, according to Don Balon.
United have enquired into the availability of the Barcelona goalkeeper, who has also attracted interest from Manchester City and AC Milan.
But Barca are reluctant to sell Bravo and are working on a contract extension for the 32-year-old which could see his minimum fee release clause rise beyond €15 million.
Madrid, who almost signed De Gea last summer but failed to complete the transfer due to an issue with paperwork, will be unable to sign players in the next two transfer windows, could move for the 25-year-old in January before their ban comes into action.
