You Are Here: 🏠Home  »  Tech   »   There’s A Brand New 2003 BMW M5 With Just 309 Miles Up For Sale

Yes, that’s 309 actual miles and not the intentional typos without the “k” sign we see on Craigslist nor one of those misleading rebuilt engine miles that are a fraction of the chassis miles.

Brought to you from the same folks over at Enthusiast Auto Group (EAG) who discovered and quickly sold a 1991 BMW M3 E30 with 6,012 miles for an asking price of $200,000, this 2003 BMW M5 E39 has laid dormant in someone’s garage for the past 13 years!

Can you believe that someone had such a cool ride and didn’t enjoy it for more than decade? That’s beyond us, as it doesn’t make sense whichever way you look at it –  even as an asset, there are more profitable, faster and sometimes, even safer ways to invest your money than betting on car to appreciate over the years.

We checked over at Carfax, and the Bavarian super saloon has only had one owner and just one service record (“Electrical system checked - Battery/charging system checked”) since it was sold in California on July 4, 2003.

According to EAG, “this 1-owner vehicle has been started regularly and correctly maintained during the last 13 years. Enthusiast Auto has performed our full recommissioning program including a Complete 10-year Service which includes: engine oil + filter change, transmission fluid change, differential fluid change, coolant flush, brake fluid flush, power steering fluid flush, engine air filter and fuel filter replacement.”.

The company says those interested in the black-on-black M5 should “call for price”, which in layman’s terms translates to “get ready for six figures”. On the same site, another 2003 M5 with 6,424 miles is listed for $74,990.
