Vice chairman of Yoruba Unity Forum (YUF), retired Archbishop of Ilesa Methodist Church Nigeria, His Grace, Most Reverend Ayo Ladigbolu, has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) over their effort which resulted in the prompt release of a Yoruba frontline elder statesman, Chief Olu Falae who was allegedly kidnapped by some Fulani herdsmen.
In a statement made available to reporters and signed by Aramide Tola Noibi, YUF vice chairman commended the zeal and dogged strides of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, to personally lead the operation leading to the immediate release of Chief Falae from his abductors, in full obedience to President Muhammadu Buhari’s order.
Condemning the kidnapping of Falae, the vice chairman charged the entire Nigerians, along with other security agents to be their brother’ s keepers at all times to promote genuine peaceful coexistence and political stability which he described as the vital bedrock of effective economic viability in the society attracting sincere business investors to propel the nation’s viability at all times.
