Wife of Nigeria’s President, Aisha Buhari, on Sunday congratulated Kayode Fayemi for emerging winner of the 2018 Ekiti state governorship election.
Electoral umpire INEC on Sunday morning declared the APC candidate as winner after polling 197,459 votes to beat his rival, PDP’s Kolapo Olusola-Eleka, who got 178,121 votes.
”Congratulations to All members of APC, His Excellency the Governor-Elect of Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, and the people of Ekiti State,” Mrs Buhari wrote on Twitter.
